Imam Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei’s 2026 Hajj Message

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

“I respond to Your call, O’ Allah, I respond to Your Call! I respond to Your call, You have no partner, I respond to Your call! Indeed, all praise, all blessings, and all sovereignty belong to You…”

O’ Allah! I answer Your call. You have no partner, and all praise, all blessings, and all dominion and power come from You and belong to You.

This year’s season of Hajj has once again arrived, and the pilgrims of the Islamic Ummah have donned the Ehram of servitude, reciting the Talbiyyah, so that they may migrate from their material and mundane life to a divine and blessed life – an Islamic monotheistic life centered around servitude to the Exalted Glorified Allah, and the rejection, negation, and disavowal of all that is other than Allah (false deities).

Yet this opportunity for migration is not limited to the pilgrims of the House of Allah this year; it includes all Muslim brothers and sisters in Iran and across the world – from those who have already performed the Hajj in previous years to those who have not yet been able to do so.

The condition of this migration is a perpetual Ehram centered around the Dhikr (remembrance) of Allah, a constant Tawaf (circumambulation) around the pivot of Truth, a continuous Sai’ (striving) between the lofty peaks of divine duties, a constant Rami (casting of stones) at the evil Satan with all his deceptive manifestations and his followers, a Wuqoof (standing) filled with attention and humble supplication; feeding the downtrodden poor and the traveler, sacrificing selfish desires and deviant inclinations, purifying the inner self of impurities, and in all states, being ready to serve and to raise the banner of defending the Truth.

Thus it was that at the appointed Miqat (time) of the Islamic Revolution, the Iranian nation stepped onto this very same path of migration, and answered the Abrahamic call of the Great Imam Khomeini (R), cast off the garments of submission to domination, and donned the Ehram of worldly and eternal prosperity – and proclaiming “Labbayk” and hastening forward – strove to do Tawaf (circumambulate) around the axis of the teachings of the Pure Muhammadan (S) Islam, drawing closer to the radiant light of universal justice and supreme Wilayah (guardianship).

Allah is the Greatest! Allah is the Greatest! There is no god, but Allah and Allah is the Greatest! Allah is the Greatest, and to Allah belongs all praise! Allah is the Greatest for guiding us!

Yes – Allah is the Greatest… It was with this very weapon of “Allahu Akbar!” that the Iranian Muslim nation rose up forty-seven years ago, brought down the Taghut, dictatorial, and dependent Pahlavi regime, cut off the greedy hands of the arrogant America from the country, and completely eradicated the influence of Zionism.

With this same weapon of “Allahu Akbar!”, after the aggression of Saddam’s Ba’thist regime against Iran’s land, the devoted and noble brave Mujahideen and self-sacrificing youth created the epic of the 8-Year Sacred Defense, and despite the support of all Eastern and Western powers for the Baʿthist regime, forced it back in its place.

And the Iranian nation continued this firm and resolute steadfastness for years afterward in the face of economic sieges, coup d’etats, oppressive sanctions, and countless political, media, and economic attacks by the enemies against the Islamic Republic.

And “Allahu Akbar!”… It was this very weapon of “Allahu Akbar!” that strengthened the bonds of the Islamic Ummah and the Mujahid youth of the Resistance Front – from Iran to Lebanon, and Palestine, and Iraq, and Syria; from Africa and Yemen to Afghanistan and Pakistan, and all free nations of the world – so that this firm rope would rise up to defend the essence of the Islamic Ummah against the usurper Zionist aggressors, crush the ISIS tumor, launch the al-Aqsa Storm, and start the countdown of the shaky Zionist regime’s final breaths.

Allah is the Greatest – indeed, Allah the Glorified, the Exalted is greater than can be described.

It was this weapon of “Allahu Akbar!”, and reliance upon it, that enabled the Islamic Republic of Iran to successfully deal devastating blows to the Zionist regime in the Second Imposed War (12-Day War, June 2025) that left it helpless, and strike a hard slap against the aggressor America, and thwart the enemy’s objective of forcing Iran into submission.

And the weapon of “Allahu Akbar!” granted such strength and power to the Iranian nation that after the heartbreaking martyrdom of the Great and Honorable Leader, the worthy descendant of the Messenger (S) – his eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Husayni Khamenei, may Allah exalt his honorable status – at the hands of the most wicked [forces] of today’s world, the Iranian nation experienced a divine raising up, and with a comprehensive presence in every needed arena, astonished the world’s eyes with its achievements.

“Allahu Akbar!” – truly Allah the Glorified, the Exalted is greater than can be described.

With this very weapon of “Allahu Akbar!”, the honorable and devoted soldiers and the life-sacrificing armed forces of Islamic Iran, together with the Mujahideen of the Resistance Front – especially dearly esteemed Lebanon – achieved astonishing victories against the two heavily armed American-Zionist terrorist forces in the Third Imposed War (Ramadan 2026 War).

With Tawakkul (reliance) on Allah, and through our missiles and drones on land, air, and sea, they cast stones at the “Great Satan” America, and its trained animal – the Zionist regime – and witnessed with their own eyes Allah’s true promise of victory for those who strive in Allah’s path.

Again, “Allahu Akbar!” – surely Allah the Glorified, the Exalted is greater than can be described, and Allah’s army prevails over every power. With this same weapon of “Allahu Akbar!”, following the raising up of the Iranian nation and the Resistance Front, the raising up of the Islamic Ummah will take shape, and the Bara’at (disavowal) of the Mushrikeen will extend from the ritual of stoning during Hajj into the individual, social, and political lives of Muslims all across the world.

The Islamic Ummah and the nations of the region possess many shared capacities and interests that will shape the new order and future architecture of the region and the world. With sincerity and honesty, I call upon all Islamic countries and governments to friendship and cooperation in righteousness and goodness, so that by working together, we may advance the Islamic Ummah and resolve the issues of the Islamic World.

What is certain is that the hands of time will not turn back, and the nations and lands of the region will no longer serve as shields for American bases. Not only will America no longer have a secure foothold for its mischief or military presence in the region, but day by day, it will also continue to decline from its former position.

The shaky Zionist regime – the cancerous tumor of israel – is also approaching the final stages of its disgusting existence – and by Allah’s grace – based upon the definite statements and predictions stated ten years ago by the Great and Honorable Martyred Leader (Shaheed Khamenei), may Allah elevate his pure soul, [the Zionist tumor] will not see twenty-five years after the date of the aforementioned statement – Insha Allah.

It is for this reason that the issue of Bara’at (disavowal) from the Mushrikeen holds even greater importance this year, and the scope and breadth of Bara’at from America and the Zionist regime extends beyond the rites of Bara’at in the Hajj.

And even after these blessed days, [all] across different places in Iran and in the world, “Death to America!” and “Death to israel!” will remain the common slogans of the Islamic Ummah and the oppressed of the world, especially the youth.

The future belongs to the Islamic Ummah and the New Islamic Civilization, and each of us can play a role – according to our will power, our capacity, and our responsibility – in realizing and drawing closer to that future.

In this year’s Hajj pilgrimage, Iranian Hajj pilgrims have an important and prominent role in conveying the narrative of victory in the Third Imposed War to their Muslim brothers and sisters and in inspiring hope in them for a bright future.

I ask all dearly esteemed Hajj pilgrims to diligently pray for the hastening of the reappearance of the Savior of Humanity [Imam al-Mahdi (A)] – may Allah hasten his reappearance, to pray for the unity of the Islamic Ummah, the liberation of Palestine and al-Aqsa Masjid, the removal of the great hardships of Muslims, and achieving final victory over Global Arrogance – and to also include me in their prayers.

O’ Nourishing Lord! Send blessings upon Muhammad (S) and the family of Muhammad (S); extend Your grace and mercy to the Hajj pilgrims and all of Islam’s Ummah; grant them the Towfeeq (grace) of an accepted Hajj; illuminate their hearts with knowledge and Baseerat (insight); and strengthen their resolve and will to walk the path to reform the condition of the Ummah and to achieve final victory over the enemies of Islam.

O’ Nourishing Lord! Bestow Your vast grace and mercy upon the pure souls of the martyrs on the path of Allah – especially the martyrs of the Resistance Front, and at their forefront, the Great and Honorable Shaheed [Khamenei], may Allah exalt his status.

And grant his celestial soul the abundant reward of the Hajj of the pilgrims, and the worship of the worshippers, and the efforts of the strivers that have abundant reward from among those who were graced by the guidance and leadership of the Leader of the Ummah (Shaheed Khamenei); and assist the Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah in steadfastly continuing along his path and purpose.

O’ Nourishing Lord! Send Your highest blessings and greetings upon our master and Mawla, his eminence the Awaited Mahdi – may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him and upon his pure ancestors, and include all of us and the Islamic Ummah among those who benefit from his eminence’s pure and accepted prayers; and illuminate and adorn the world with his blessed reappearance, as You have promised, for our hearts are overflowing with certainty in that inevitable promise.

“Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth, just as He did for those before them, and that He will firmly establish for them their religion which He has chosen form them, and that He will surely replace their fear with security.” [Quran 24:55]

May Allah’s greetings, mercy, and blessings be upon all of our Muslim brothers and sisters.
