Some of our young people demanded martyrdom from me, and made me swear that I would pray for them to become martyrs. The women who gave their youths were proud that they gave away martyrs. And even if there was just one son left, she would still say, “I will donate this one as well.” This is not the power of nationality; this is the power of faith, this is the power of Islam. Don’t get it confused, don’t make a mistake; it is Islam that has overcome the superpowers.
