We must also make firm the belief in the authority (governance) of Islam [and] this matter is crystal clear. This is a matter which the Muslims of the world throughout multiple centuries and specifically the great thinkers of the last century – from Sayyid Jamal Asadabadi to Iqbal Lahori, to the great thinkers [and] the great religious scholars inside our very country, were after this matter that the religion of Allah must have the authority and this is the continuation of the path of the Messenger (S).
