Fatwa Against the Enemies of Rahbar and Marjaiyyah | Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Any individual or regime that threatens the Islamic Ummah and its leadership, the Rahbar, or Marjaiyyah, or – Allah forbid – attempts any aggression against them, is classified as a Muharib (one who wages war against Allah).

Any form of cooperation with them or strengthening them is Haram (religiously forbidden) for Muslims and Islamic governments.

It is incumbent upon all Muslims across the world to make such enemies regret their words and actions.

And if they (the Muslims) endure hardships or incur a loss while doing so, they shall – Allah willing – have the rewards of a Mujahid on the path of Allah.

May Allah protect the Islamic community from the evil of its enemies and hasten the reappearance of the Master of the Age and the Time (Imam Mahdi).
