The Islamic Republic Day marks the day that the results of the March 1979 Iranian Islamic Republic referendum were announced where an overwhelming 98.2% of the nation voted for the establishment of an Islamic Republic in the state.
During the Islamic Revolution struggle, a lot of people doubted if the movement led by Imam Khomeini (R) would be victorious.
But our magnanimous Imam placed his trust in Allah – the Exalted – and persevered, and made the movement victorious along with the help of the nation.
Today is the 43rd anniversary of this glorious event and the Islamic Republic of Iran stands strong more than ever before.
