A drastic flood struck Iran recently. Unlike what we witness in other countries, in Iran, general public from all over the country flocked to the flood-stricken areas to help and assist the victims. From almost all cities throughout the country, flocks of men traveled to the affected areas to help their brethren – in any way possible – from cleaning to re-construction to providing medical aid to re-building houses to providing basic necessities of life to the victims. This voluntary movement of believers is a display of their commitment to enrich brotherhood throughout the country. The Leader praised all those who became part of this aid movement and fulfilled their Islamic and humanitarian responsibility.
