Imam Khamenei’s Message on the Burial Ceremony of Shaheed Nasrallah and Shaheed Safieddine
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Allah – the Exalted and Glorified – says, “And honor is for Allah, and for Allah’s Messenger (S), and for the believers, but the hypocrites do not know” [Quran 63:08].
The great Mujahid and the vanguard leader of the Resistance in the region, his eminence Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah – may Allah elevate his status – is at the peak of honor. His pure body is being buried in the lands of ‘Jihad on the path of Allah’, yet his soul and his path will – Allah willing – shine more gloriously with each passing day; and will show the path to the followers [of the path].
The enemy must know that the resistance against anger, oppression and arrogance will never end and – Allah willing – this resistance will continue until it reaches its intended final destination.
The pure name and the luminous face of the honorable Sayyid Hashim Safieddine – may Allah be pleased with him – is likewise a shining star of this region. He was a close friend and inseparable part of the Resistance’s leadership in Lebanon.
May the salutations of Allah and Allah’s righteous servants be upon these two proud Mujahideen, and upon the other brave and self-sacrificing fighters that have attained martyrdom in recent times, and upon all of the Shuhada of Islam. And my special salutations be upon you brave youth of Lebanon, my dearly esteemed children.
