The difficulties of life, the difficulties pertaining to livelihood, personal difficulties, the difficulties of a family, and other kinds of difficulties become a barrier for us to pay attention to ourselves as we should. Thus, this month of Ramadan – which Allah, the Exalted, has ordained – is a valuable opportunity. Don’t lose this holy month. What I’m saying is that if we aren’t in a constant state of watchfulness and working on our self-development, then at the least we should value the month of Ramadan.
