Sometimes the sufferings and efforts made to keep the blood of a martyr alive, are no less than martyrdom itself. Such are the thirty years of suffering of Imam Sajjad (A) and the years of suffering of Zainab Al-Kubra (A). They suffered to be able to keep this blood alive.
