Right from the beginning, the Islamic Revolution was faced with the enmity of superpowers and a certain front came into being. When we say, “superpowers”, we mean the Soviet Union of those days as well as America. They had disagreements with each other over hundreds of matters, but they were in agreement with one another over one issue; confronting the Islamic Republic, the Islamic Revolution, and the system established by Imam Khomeini.
