Naturally, with such a comprehensive outlook, religion becomes the object of enmities. The evil individuals across the world and in all eras have opposed such a religion [which is comprehensive]. They either tried to relegate religion’s vast dominion to [mere] personal matters or they opposed it openly. In Surah al-Furqan it says, “Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy among the criminals” [Qur’an 25:31]. And in Surah al-An’aam it says “And thus have We made for every Messenger an enemy – devils among men and jinn – some inspiring others from amongst them with decorative speech in delusion.” [Qur’an 6:112]
