In this (Islam’s) political system, the governmental philosophy is based upon God’s [divine] Book and on that which Allah – the Exalted – revealed to the Prophets [as the Qur’an says] “Mankind was one community [before their deviation], then Allah sent Messengers with glad tidings and warnings; and with them He sent the Book in truth, to judge between people in matters wherein they differed.” [Qur’an 2:213].
