In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
(“Verily we belong to Allah, and verily to Him do we return.”)
Once again, the brutal terrorists targeted a gathering of innocent civilians with a double-bombing in Tayaran Square in dear Baghdad, which led to the fall of dozens of martyrs and many times more wounded. [They are] wounded in a terrible scene that hurts everyone’s conscience.
We extend our deepest and sincerest condolences to the families of the honorable martyrs; and beseech God Almighty to grant the wounded a speedy recovery.
We call on the competent security agencies to intensify and exert more efforts to preserve security and thwart the plans of the enemies waiting to attack these oppressed people; [people] who are suffering in various aspects. And there is no strength or power except God Almighty.
