Millions across the world visited the holy shrine of Imam Husayn (A) in the land of Karbala throughout the months of Muharram and Safar, and especially on the Day of Arbaeen.
But unfortunately, some were not able to attend.
“Woe upon my distance from you!”
“Every night I am at your Haram;”
“but I see that it’s as if I am only dreaming.”
“I’m afraid that I might die without seeing your Haram;”
“and I am slowly dying from this very grief!”
Powerful poetry recited by Hussain Tahiri in this beautiful Latmiyya that describes the emotions of us all, at one point or the other in our lives.
